The Last Martyrs: Enduring the Tribulation by George F. Adams contains two distinct writings within one intriguing book: a realistic and scripturally-based novel detailing plausible End Times events derived from biblical prophecy, and then an intricate Appendix offering a biblical outline explanation of End Time prophecy. Namely focusing on the Book of Revelation, the author has intertwined cryptic apocalyptic prophecies about the Antichrist, the beginning of the End (the Great Tribulation) and the Millennial Reign of Christ coupled with an inviting "In the Beginning" introduction that presents a perplexing, yet fascinating and gripping novel that most likely will leave a lasting imprint on one's soul.

The novel begins with two groups of characters. The first group depicts average individuals that have missed the Rapture. The stage is set and they realize that they have a choice: survival, but will they take the Mark of the Beast? Christ is revealed to be their only hope in a desperate chain of events that begin to happen, initially brought on by the mysterious disappearance of "the Church" who have been taken from the Earth, escaping the wrath that quickly unfolds. Go behind the scenes, witness the Devil along with his wicked entourage, the Antichrist and the False Prophet, as they begin their plans of destruction upon the Earth and its inhabitants, bringing the book to a climactic and apocalyptic war against God, known as Armageddon. Fast-paced and realistic, the author uses current events that could very well happen in our modern society -all based on Scripture and biblical End Time prophecy.

Located at the end, the Appendix holds the key to the mysteries and happenings with much scriptural application - chapter by chapter, according to End Time prophecy. Most of the book concentrates on the Book of Revelation, with prophecies from the Book of Daniel and others to help the reader understand the timeline of events that are predicted to occur within the Last Days. The purpose of the book is to open readers' eyes to the times we are living in and to introduce study of the Bible, and the Book of Revelation, in particular. Creative and unique, this book was written to encourage and prepare all to understand End Time prophecy and biblical study, procuring a position of readiness for the days to come.
